Alan Rogers Review
Situated just a couple of hundred metres from the village of Mansigné (Village in Bloom), this municipal site offers 120 flat and numbered pitches (95 for touring) separated by a variety of low hedges with young and mature trees giving a feeling of spaciousness. Long leads are required for many of the pitches (10A electricity). The main attraction to this site is the adjacent, 60-acre lake, which offers all kinds of watersports. There are eight bungalows to rent, with a further 20 mobile homes available away from the main site close to the lake. The modern reception building is full of information for exploring this delightful region of the Loire Valley.
The main attraction of this site is the adjacent 60-acre leisure area and the 30-acre lake, which has a beach, lake swimming and many other watersports. A lifeguard is on duty from mid June to the end of August. There is a restaurant adjacent to the lake offering activities for campers in high season. The modern reception building has plenty of information for exploring this delightful region. There are some mobile homes and ready erected tents for hire separate from the main camping area.
Three sanitary blocks, one more modern central block with some washbasins in cabins. Laundry. No shop but bread can be ordered. Bar and snack bar (June-Sept). Swimming pools. Three play areas. Minigolf. Tennis. Pétanque. Volleyball, football and basketball. Mountain bike track (bikes from reception). Athletics track. Lake with sailing, pedaloes, canoes and fishing. Free WiFi in reception area.
Mansigné is signed off the N23 between Le Mans and Angers. Follow D13 for 21 km. Reaching Mansigné, follow signs for the Base de Loisirs. The campsite is on the right just before the lake.Link to campsite location map on google
