Alan Rogers Review
La Cascade is situated on a terraced hillside, beside the Tarn river. One may have an action-packed holiday or enjoy peace and tranquillity relaxing by the river. There are 99 pitches, 50 for touring with electricity (6A) with plenty of shade and manicured hedges. This is an ideal starting point for walkers to explore the surrounding hills and gorges as the owner will organise transport. Canoes, pedaloes are available for hire to explore the gorge. A restaurant, bar and takeaway all overlook the swimming pool. There are some steep paths that make this site unsuitable for disabled visitors and large units.
Good sanitary block with showers and washbasins in cabins. Toilets facilities are located throughout the site. No equipment for people with reduced mobility. Washing machine, dryer, ironing board. Shop, bar, restaurant (July/August). Pools and wading pools with slide (Seasonal). River beach. Activities and entertainment in high season. Playground. Tennis. Fishing.
From the north on A75 take exit 46, D999 signed St Rome-de-Carmon, then D31, then D933 to Rome-de-Tarn. Site is on right through village. From the south, take exit 47, follow directions as above.Link to campsite location map on google
