With a pleasant location situated on the bank of the River Dordogne, this small site is within easy walking distance of the town centre. Neatly presented, there are just 38 pitches with 12 mobile homes to rent (all with balconies). The pitches are on grass with 10A electricity and there are areas of hardstanding should the ground be soft. Visitors with large RVs and double-axle caravans should book in advance as longer pitches are limited. Some pitches are ‘drive through’ style and some also have some low, ranch-style fence dividers. The oval swimming pool has a decking surround with sun loungers, parasols and a jaccuzi.

Sainte Foy-la-Grande is an old bastide town dating from 1255 and created by Alphonse de Poitiers. It has a wealth of interesting old buildings including a 13th-century Gothic church, a covered central square and half-timbered houses. There is a market on Saturday mornings with local produce, fresh fish and wines. The Périgord region has many old bastide towns and villages to visit making it an ideal destination for those interested in architecture and history.

Ste Foy-la-Grande is 20 km. west of Bergerac. Site is 1 km. east of the town centre on D130, on south bank of the river Dordogne (well signed).
