Camping De Duinpan is situated in Noordwijk in the Dutch province of Zuid-Holland. The campsite is close to a popular 12 km. long sandy beach. It is divided into two distinct areas, one for up to 40 touring units and 40 seasonal pitches; the other providing 60 fully equipped chalets around a small lake. The touring area is suitable for all forms of camping, each pitch having water, drainage and 16A electrical supply. There are two modern sanitary blocks and a small play area for young children. Nearby there is a campers’ supermarket and restaurant. Fresh bread is available from the reception.
The site is surrounded by natural woodlands and North Sea beaches. It is also near the famous bulb fields. This is an ideal location for cycling, walking and riding at the nearby stables. The town of Noordwijk has a rich and varied history. In 1429, it was officially named as a place of pilgrimage; the skeleton of Saint Jeroen, executed by the Normans in AD 856, still lies at the church today. The Hague can be explored in a day as it is just 27 km. to the southwest. Camping De Duinpan is open over the winter months at specially reduced rates.
