Camping de Ceyreste is located on the edge of an extensive pine forest in the heart of Provence, a five minute drive from the beach of La Ciotat and its beautiful bay, Le Golfe d’Amour. There are about 170 shady pitches, most terraced, of which about 50 are for touring units, all with electricity connections (6/10A), sink and water supply. The remainder are occupied by seasonal caravans and a range of mobile homes to rent.

You can head off on foot or by mountain bike into the pine-covered slopes behind the site, or by car to explore the countryside of the Bouches-du-Rhône and the varied coastline of the Mediterranean between Marseille and Toulon.

The picturesque village of Ceyreste, with its narrow streets, old fortifications and Roman well, is just 1 km. away and has a few shops, bars and restaurants; a wider choice is to be found inland at nearby Aubagne, famous for its clay figurines. The fashionable village and port of Cassis, which shelters beneath a spectacular cliff, is a popular destination, whilst further west lies Marseille, and to the east the little town of Saint-Cyr-sur-Mer and the bustling city of Toulon. Castellet (20 km) is famous for national and international motorsports competitions.

Directions to Camping de Ceyreste

Ceyreste is 33 km. southeast of Marseille. The site is north of the village. From A50 (Marseille-Toulon) motorway leave at exit 9 and head south on D40B to La Ciotat. At roundabout in 8 km. turn east on D559 (Toulon/Ceyreste) then north on D40A /D3 to Ceyreste. Before village bear left (D40H) signed Simalègre and site on left in 1.5 km.
