Vallespir is a small site set deep in the countryside on one of the less popular roads from France into Spain. Situated in the valley of the River Tech, the views of the surrounding mountains are fantastic. Access is quite easy and after descending down the slight slope of the site road into the main pitch area, you are presented with 142 flat, grassy and quite private pitches with a choice of 6/10 electricity. The majority are for touring units and these are well fenced off from the river, providing a safe and secure environment. This is a popular tourist area with the town of Amélie-les-Bains only a kilometre away.

Here you will find the usual souvenir shops as well as banks and supermarkets. This is a great area for walking and hiking and limited possibilities for watersports on the river, such as fishing and canoeing.

Facilities at Camping Caravaning le Vallespir

Two toilet blocks, one near the pool, the other in the centre of the site. Modern and clean, but perhaps under pressure in high season. Baby room. Accessible Facilities (key). Small shop (June-Sept). Bar and snack bar with takeaway. Restaurant (July/Aug). Two swimming pools with large terrace. Fitness equipment. Play areas. TV room. Tennis. Boules. Small library. WiFi (free).

Site is east of Arles-sur-Tech on the D115, just a few hundred metres after leaving Amélie-les-Bains. From A9 use exit 43, from Spain the C165 road.
