La Petite Valette, run by a very welcoming Dutch family, has been developed from an attractive old farm into a small, well presented and peaceful campsite, ideal for couples and families with young children. It is surrounded by farmland yet only 5 km. from the autoroute and the small market town of Montmarault. There are 60 good sized, level, grassy pitches, all with 6A electricity. They are separated by flowering shrubs and trees giving shade and privacy, with many having pleasant, rural views. Many of the facilities are housed in the original buildings although the fixtures and fittings are modern.

The excellent restaurant overlooks the cottage garden overflowing with flowers and providing a tranquil atmosphere. A small lake in one of the lower fields is stocked with fish – a haven for anglers. There are several play areas and a large field where youngsters can let off steam playing a wide variety of games. In high season, organised activities are aimed at families and younger children. The surrounding countryside is ideal for cycling and there are many interesting old villages worth exploring. The site is home to ponies and small livestock (rabbits, chickens and ducks) keeping the farm feeling alive.

Leave A71 exit 11. First roundabout take D46 signed St Pourcain. Shortly at roundabout take D945 signed Deux-Chaises. After 3 km. take third left, site sign, follow narrow lanes to site (just under 2 km).
