Camping Canal de Berry is a kilometre from Saint-Amand-Montrond, Cher, set between the Cher River and Canal de Berry providing a tranquil atmosphere and waterfront views. The site has 140 pitches, 120 of which are for touring units and 16/10-amp hook-up points (some need a French type of plug). There are also 14 mobile homes or chalets available to hire.

A friendly and helpful team are always happy to assist you with any needs whilst staying at this campsite, and you can expect all the facilities needed for an enjoyable stay. On-site, you will find Clean and modern shower blocks, a children's playground, and a sports ground to entertain little ones. Bicycle rental is also available for exploring the scenic canal towpath. The site offers a Bread delivery service during peak season for breakfast treats and fresh bread.

Shops and services are in Saint-Amand-Montrond town centre and a market on Wednesday and Saturday mornings is less than a kilometre from the site. A five-minute drive from the site is the Gallo-Roman Drevant, an ancient theatre you can have a wander round. If learning about regional history's where your interests lie, the Saint-Vic Museum is the same distance away.Saint-Amand-Montrond is about 40 minutes’ drive south of the half-timbered houses and Gothic-inspired cathedral of Bourges, known for its swish stained-glass windows.

Directions to Camping Canal de Berry

From the A71 at exit 8 join the D300. Next, at a roundabout take the 2^nd exit join the D301. At the next roundabout take the last exit to join the D951. Cross the river and take the first turn on the right. Follow this road as far as the canal and turn left. The site is then on this road.
