Camping BellaVista is close to the town of Aguilas on the Costa Cálida and just a short walk from the sea. There are just 65 gravel pitches, all with water and electrical connection (10A) available and some also with drains; they are on the small size, but separated by hedges; artificial shading, blending with the existing tree cover, is provided in summer. Nearby are the impressive landscapes of the Protected Area of Cuatro Calas, a rugged area of volcanic outcrops, unusual flora and the rocky creeks from which it gets its name.

A beautiful new swimming pool has massage jets, a wheelchair ramp and an open-air jacuzzi. The beaches and attractive promenade of Águilas are within easy reach, as are its shops, bars and restaurants. A cycle path enables the more energetic to explore this extensive coastline - there are almost forty varied beaches to choose from - or buses will take you further afield. Inland is Lorca, known for its castle, its baroque architecture, its Easter processions and the ten-day ‘Feria de Lorca’ in mid September. To the north is the historic naval city of Cartagena where you can visit the military fortifications and the Roman amphitheatre and forum, or experience mud bathing in the Mar Menor.

Aguilas is 100 km. south-west of Murcia. From A7 Alicante-Almeria motorway leave at exit/km. 591 for Lorca and head south on RM11 to Aguilas. At roundabout before town, take first exit RM333 (Vera) to site on right in 3 km.
