Camping Blanes is the first of the sites which edge the pedestrian promenade here and probably the smallest. A private gate leads to the promenade and beach. Open all year, it is family owned and run and has been in the hands of the Boix family for 50 years. With only 181 pitches and no bungalows or mobile homes, it has a comfortable family atmosphere and is popular with low season visitors. The pitches average between 60-80 sq.m, have 6A electricity, and shade is provided by tall pines. Care must be taken when manoeuvring large units due to low branches and the irregular shape of some of the pitches.

For a small site it is well served with a bar, restaurant and a shop. A fairly small swimming pool and excellent sunbathing terrace is cleverly hidden on the roof above the bar area and is a brilliant suntrap. It makes a good family venue with the beach just across the promenade, or a comfortable winter choice with all amenities within walking distance. The best pitches are those next to the sea, as they have less road noise, a better view and good satellite reception.

Site is south of the town beside the beach before Camping Bella Terra and El Pinar. Follow signs for ‘campings/hotel’ until individual site sign appears.
