Camping Betuwe is in the Neder-Betuwe municipality of Gelderland, an agricultural fruit-growing region. It's on the doorstep of the Utrecht Heuvelrug National Park, just 10 minutes away. You can spend days cycling and walking through the orchards and along the river banks, as well as pottering around in the sleepy little villages and exploring the medieval castles of the area.

The campsite has spacious pitches for touring units and tents, with 16A hook-up, adjacent to the new toilet facilities. There are two lakes, one with a sandy beach and play area and the other being a well-stocked fishing lake, fringed with leafy willows and tall trees. This site is suitable for all ages, those seeking peace and tranquillity in rural surroundings, and families with young children and teenagers. Age-appropriate entertainment is organised in the high season.

A convivial bar and restaurant with takeaway also provides a varied entertainment programme during the high season. For that special occasion there is the newly opened brasserie. The park has a well stocked shop where fresh bread rolls are available each morning.

Excellent restaurant/brasserie (all year). Playgrounds. Lakeside beach and swimming. Well-stocked fishing lake. Bicycle hire. Dogs (max. 2) are allowed. Public transport is 5 min. walk away. WiFi (charged). Only gas barbecues are permitted. Riding.

Directions to Camping Betuwe

Leave A15 at exit 35 and take N233 towards Kesteren. After 2 km. turn left then right onto N320. After 1 km. turn right at signpost and then first right. Site is on left in 1 km. New entrance 200 m. past old entrance (closed).
