A lakeside site, Camping Badiaccia Village, has a relaxed atmosphere and excellent views of the surrounding hills and the islands of the lake. Being directly on the lake, with a long sandy beach, gives an almost seaside atmosphere.

The 260 numbered and well-tended pitches (4-12A electricity) vary in size and are shaded and separated by trees and bushes. English is spoken by the friendly staff. A very pleasant, large pool is by the restaurant, and a children’s pool is in the beach area. There is a protected swimming area along the beach with lots of sunbathing space, sun loungers with some reed areas close by, a jetty for fishing, and a protected mooring for small boats. The site offers a range of sporting opportunities with organised activities for children and adults in the high season.

Guided excursions to Rome and Florence are offered in high season, and a list detailing local markets is displayed.

Directions to Camping Badiaccia

From A1 (Milan-Rome) take Val di Chiana exit and turn east towards Perugia on SS75bis. At Castiglione exit take SS71 towards Castiglione. Site well signed 5 km. north of town.
