Camping Aux Portes des Mille Sources is a family-friendly and eco site situated within a wildlife haven next to the Vézère River and a fishing pond. The site is set over three and a quarter hectares and has 105 grass/hardstanding spacious and shady pitches, of which 70 are for touring units and have a 10-amp hook-up point. There are also 36 mobile homes, chalets or log cabins available to hire.

Facilities on-site include a bouncy castle, a sports hall, a tennis court, a boules area and a games room with books and board games. For family games, you can also enjoy a round of crazy golf on-site, too. There is a shop on site selling the essentials needed to cook back at your pitch, as well as cold drinks and ice cream, and fresh bread and pastries are available to order. During high season, there is also a snack bar on site. In addition to the vast facilities available on-site, there is also a covered outdoor swimming pool with a solarium and deck chairs perfect for sunbathing and lounging around by during the summer.

For fishing enthusiasts, there are plenty of fly fishing opportunities on the Vézère River, or you can try other sports within the surrounding area, such as canoeing, mountain biking, and treetop adventure courses, and there are also many walking and cycling trails within the vicinity of the campsite.

Many popular and scenic sites are nearby, such as the Gallo-Roman site of Cars, the Château de Ventadour, the Pans of Travassac and the Gimel waterfalls. There are pet donkeys and alpacas in a paddock. If you have dog, the walk into the village is easy as is the walking round the lake.

From Paris on the A20 in the direction of Toulouse take exit 35 to join the D979 in the direction of Eymoutiers and follow signs for Bugeat. Just before the river bridge at Bugeat.turn left onto the D97 and the site is on the right off this road.

From Toulouse on the A20 in the direction of Paris, then A89/E70, direction Clermont-Ferrand take exit 23 towards Meymac and join the D979 to Meynac. Now follow signs for Bugeat. In Bugeat cross the river bridge and turn right onto D97 and the site is on the right off this road. From Bordeaux on the A89/E70 towards Clermont-Ferrand take exit 23 towards Meymac and join the D979 to Meynac. Now follow signs for Bugeat.
