You will be assured of a very warm welcome, throughout the long season, at this attractive family run site set amongst a variety of tall trees on the banks of the River Dordogne. The large, level, grass pitches, 99 for touring units, all with electricity (6A, Europlug), are mostly separated by neatly trimmed shrubs and hedges. They are set out on two levels; the lower level nearer the river, with fewer static pitches, being some distance from the toilet facilities and sports area. This site should appeal to watersports lovers and other activities, particularly in July and August when there is plenty to do for all the family.
The shop, bar, restaurant and swimming pools are near the entrance and just across the minor road is the large sports area with a football field, volleyball and basketball pitches, mini golf and archery. Canoe hire is also available on site for all levels of experience. This region is famous for its prehistoric caves, castles, ancient villages, and markets. The access roads on site are narrow with sharp corners and therefore not recommended for larger units.

Directions to Camping Au Soleil d’Oc
Leave Argentat on D12 heading southwest (Beaulieu). In 3.5 km. (village of Laygue) turn left across a single track bridge spanning the River Dordogne. Immediately turn left and site is a few hundred metres on left.
