Camping Au P’tit Bonheur is in the heart of the Dordogne region, between Sarlat and Rocamadour, set in open countryside 250 m. above the River Dordogne and not far from the small village of Peyrillac-et-Millac. It is a quiet, spacious, family run site and in July and August there is a varied entertainment programme for all the family. There are 100 average sized pitches with 59 for touring. Many are on terraces, all have 10A electricity and some have a water supply. A variety of shrubs and trees give shade to many of the pitches and some have good views over the countryside below the campsite.
This site is well situated for exploring the natural, historical, cultural and gastronomic riches of the Dordogne on foot, on bike or by car. There are many tourist attractions nearby including beautiful villages with their narrow, tortuous streets, markets, old churches and picturesque châteaux perilously perched on rocks high above the River Dordogne. The nearby bastide town of Domme situated on an exceptional hilltop location is listed as one of the most beautiful villages in France. Souillac, to the east, has a good range of shops and services.
Facilities at Camping Au P’tit Bonheur
Two modern toilet blocks with all necessary facilities including those for babies and accessible facilities, Laundry. Swimming/paddling pool, sauna and jacuzzi with spacious sunny terrace overlooked by the bar/restaurant. Play area. Volleyball. Football. Table football. Boules. Entertainment programme for all the family in high season (concerts, discos, party games, sports competitions). Mini club (6-12 yrs). No electric barbecues. WiFi over part of site (charged).
Directions to Camping Au P’tit Bonheur
A20 exit 55 near Souillac. Take D904 southwest around Souillac, road number changes to D703. In Peyrillac, follow signs to site.
