Paray-Le-Monial is one of Burgundy’s well-established pilgrimage destinations and is well-located for exploring southern Burgundy. Previously known as 'Le Mambré' Camping Au Bon Endroit can be found close to the west of the town centre and is a well-equipped family site. There are 82 pitches reserved for caravans and motorhomes and a further 63 smaller pitches reserved for tents. Please note that twin-axle caravans and large motorhomes are not accepted. Pitches are grassy and well-shaded. Several mobile homes and chalets are available to rent. On-site amenities include a swimming pool, paddling pool, and a small snack bar in reception.

Paray-le-Monial is located on the Voie Verte, a 100 km. cycle circuit, which has been established on disused railway lines. The route passes through some delightful countryside, including some of Burgundy’s world-class vineyards. This is also great walking country, and the site’s friendly owners will be pleased to recommend routes. A little further afield, the great châteaux at Digoin, Demigny and Saint Aubin all merit a visit.

Location

Approaching from the east (N79), follow signs to the centre of Paray-le-Monial (D979) and the site is well signed to the west of the town centre.
