Alan Rogers Review
Camping Antholz is an all-year campsite in the heart of the Dolomites, with picturesque meadows, forests and impressive mountain views. The 120 pitches, numbered but only roughly marked out, have at least 4A electricity and 50 have 16A electricity, water and waste water. Just inside the entrance is a traditional building with a welcoming reception and a smart restaurant. High up in the Anterselva valley, there are splendid views of near and distant peaks. This is good skiing country in winter (ski bus, ski school, ski lifts) and nearby is an internationally important Biathlon Centre.
In summer, with a new national park nearby, Camping Antholz is a great place for walkers, cyclists, mountain bikers and for those who prefer to explore the valleys and mountain roads of this wonderful region by car.
The sanitary facilities are of an extremely high standard, with underfloor heating in addition to the normal facilities. Accessible facilities, Hair salon. Cosmetics room with infra-red sauna. Baby room. Washing machine and dryer. Motorhome services. Bar, restaurant and takeaway (all year). Shop for basics. Playground. TV room. Bicycle hire. Limited entertainment programme for children in high season. WiFi (charged).
Antholz/Anterselva is 90 km. northeast of Bolzano. From Bressanone/Brixen exit on A22 (Brenner-Modena), go east on SS49 for 50 km, then turn north (signed Antholz) for 12 km. Pass upper Antholz village and site is on right.Link to campsite location map on google
