The enchanting small lake of Calceranica lies just to the east of Trento, in the foothills of the Dolomites, amidst splendid scenery. Camping Al Pescatore is a small, very pretty, family campsite with a long tradition of camping and where daughter, Giulia, speaks excellent English. The site has a pool complex, attractive landscaping and a small poolside café with terrace. There are 244 touring pitches, all with 6A electricity (long leads required on some), on grass under tall trees. A separate area immediately opposite the entrance has one third of these pitches. The lake is very popular and busy at weekends and during the summer season.

The restaurants nearby buzz with activity, the watersports are enjoyed by all but it is peaceful on the site. An excellent restaurant just outside the campsite gate is owned by the campsite family and is also used by the public. The site is just 10 m. from the lake where swimming and non powered watersports can be enjoyed. Some noise may be experienced at weekends and in high season as the area is popular with locals and motorcycle enthusiasts.

Facilities at Camping Al Pescatore

Three renovated toilet blocks on the main site provide the usual facilities and there is a single unisex block in the overflow section. Accessible facilities. Baby rooms. Washing machines. Motorhome services. Shop, bar and restaurant. Swimming pools with spa, paddling pool and slides (24/5-15/9). Playground. Organised activities for children and music and dancing for adults in July/Aug. WiFi (charged).

Directions to Camping Al Pescatore

Leave A22 (Brenner-Modena) motorway at Trento Nord, follow SS47 towards Padova to San Cristoforo and follow signs to Calceranica and site. Do not follow GPS as this will take you to a no through road.
