Camping à l’Ombre des Tilleuls is a quiet, spacious, wooded site which sits alongside the river Gave de Pau (not accessible from the site directly). There are 92 grassy pitches suitable for vans or tents, all with 6-10A electric hook-ups. The site also offers a range of bungalow, gite and mobile home accommodation. On-site facilities include an outdoor pool complex, children’s play area, bar, restaurant serving eat-in or takeaway meals, TV area and shop selling basic necessities and local produce.
This campsite is an ideal base for exploring Lourdes and the Pyrenees. The site provides a good choice of sports activities and creative workshops for children in the morning in high season and themed evenings such as night swimming, boules, dancing and karaoke.
Facilities at Camping A l’Ombre des Tilleuls
WiFi available on all pitches (charged) but free next to reception. Showers/toilets housed in modern block. Accessible facilities pool not adapted to give access to those in wheelchairs. Bread available to order. Bus route. River Gave de Pau and beach 2 km from site (fast flowing) fishing, walking. Riding 4km, golf 6 km. Dogs welcome (not dangerous breeds).
