This is a large site (905 pitches) with 683 touring pitches (533 with 10A electricity) and a further 222 pitches occupied by mobile homes, chalets and Trigano tents, all of which are available to rent. The site has a woodland setting and is 1,200 m. from the vast, sandy beach, which can be accessed via a footpath from the site. On-site amenities here include a swimming pool, a snack bar and a shop. All amenities are open in July and August, but may be closed in the low season. Cycling is very popular and a number of trails lead from the site through the surrounding forest.

This is a lively site in peak season with a wide variety of tournaments and competitions on offer, as well as an aquagym and surfing classes. A children’s club is organised in high season. Off site, the great vineyards of the Médoc are within easy reach, and the lively resort of Royan makes a good day trip, using the ferry across the Gironde estuary.

Directions to Campéole Médoc Plage

From the north, use toll ferry across the Gironde then head south on D1215, then D102 to Vendays-Montalivet. 8 km. beyond village, turn left at traffic lights, site is on left after 800 m.
