Lying west of the capital of Zagreb, one of Central Europe's oldest cities, this is a useful location for those who want a short stopover or a longer stay to explore this attractive region. The campsite is located in the village of Rakitje beside a lake fringed with inviting trails. The pitches here are laid out in a circular arrangement, linked by pathways.

As well as offering 50 camping pitches in 2 sizes (38 x 75m2 and 10 x 100m2), Camp Zagreb also has accommodation in 4 modern wooden bungalows suitable for 2-4 people and one glamping tent.

The wellness suite, which overlooks the lake, features a water bed, jacuzzi, Finnish sauna and large sun terrace with a lake view. Activities include kayak rental (included in the rental price of the glamping accommodation.) The on-site pizza restaurant, with views over the lake, Pizzeria Jezero is highly recommended.

Directions to Camp Zagreb

From the North: Heading south on E59, at Junction 7 (Jankomir), Use the right lane to follow signs for Ljubljana/Slovenija. Keep right, following signs for Kerestinec/Rakitje. After 1.3km turn right onto Zagrebačka Ul. Cary straight on for 700m onto Rakitska Ul. Camp Zagreb is 700m on your right, on Jezerska Ul. Heading South on the E70, at Junction 2 (Nedelja) take the D309 signposted for Samobor. After 700m at the traffic lights turn right onto Ul. Dr. Franje Tuđmana towards Zagreb/Podsused. After 1km, at the roundabout turn right (1st exit). After 1km turn sharp left (turn may not be suitable for long vehicles) on to Jezerska Ul.
