The site is open all year, situated in beautiful Berkshire countryside. It provides the perfect setting to relax and to spend quality time in an impressive and tranquil location, whether you holiday in one of the glamping pods/chalets or looking for a camping/touring pitch of which there are 30. Visitors can enjoy the facilities of the adjacent Country Park which covers more than 100 acres and includes nature trails, woodland walks, picnic areas, a children’s play area, and a paddling pool. Fishing is permitted in Longmoor lake with the right licence. On site you will find 45 pitches, 30 for Touring Caravans, Motorhomes, Campervans and Trailer Tents, each with hard standing and room for an awning, together with a water supply and disposal point. All pitches have electrical hook-ups. Earliest arrival time 12.30.

Ideally situated for visiting such places as London, and surrounding areas. Legoland and Windsor are 30 minutes by car. Trains to into London take 1hr. Riding schools, a sports complex with an ice-rink & large indoor swimming pool, and a ski-slope are within a few miles. The Thames with its pretty villages and many houses and gardens of interest. Windsor Castle, Eton Sunningdale, and the Ascot, Epsom, Newbury and Kempton races Hampton Court and many other attractions. Legoland, the Adventure Park and Zoo at Chessington, and Thorpe Park are within a short motoring distance. Heathrow and Gatwick Airports are easily accessible from the nearby M3, M4 and M25 motorways.

Directions to California Chalet and Touring Park

From the M4 at junction 10 join the A329M and A329 following signs to Wokingham.

Stay on A329 towards Rose Street. Continue to follow A329. Turn left onto Station Road A321 Continue straight onto Barkham Road B3349. At the roundabout, take the 1st exit onto Molly Millars Lane. Go through 1 roundabout. Turn right to stay on Molly Millars Lane. Turn right onto Finchampstead Road A321. At the roundabout, take the 2nd exit onto Finchampstead Road B3016. Go through 2 roundabouts. At the roundabout, take the 2nd exit onto Nine Mile Ride. Turn right. Turn right and site will be on the left.
