Bucklegrove is set right in the heart of Somerset on the southern slopes of the Mendip Hills and close to the tourist attractions of Cheddar Gorge, Wookey Hole and Wells. There are 110 individually marked and numbered touring and tenting pitches, most of which have 10A electricity connections. The site is made up of the Grove, a level and terraced field, joined by a woodland walk to the lower field. There is also a summer camping meadow just for tents (no electricity here), with plenty of space and great views. The play area (for under 14s) has a safety surface and includes a multiplay unit, slide and spring riders.

Facilities at Bucklegrove Caravan & Camping Park

Two toilet blocks house all the usual amenities, including washbasins in cubicles and spacious showers. The larger, heated block near reception also provides bathrooms (£1), baby changing facilities, and an accessible sanitary room. Laundry rooms. Freezer for ice packs. Well stocked shop (Easter-October). Indoor swimming pool and paddling pool (28/3-2/11). Licensed café with toddlers’ soft play area for 2015. Dogs are accepted in certain fields. WiFi (charged). Luxury log cabins for hire.

Directions to Bucklegrove Caravan & Camping Park

Please do not use GPS for large or towing vehicles. Park is on the A371 3 miles east of Cheddar and 4 miles west of Wells. Take care as the road between Wells and Cheddar is rather narrow through some of the villages.
