Alan Rogers Review
Brynawelon Touring & Camping Park is a friendly, attractive and well-appointed campsite. It is in a stunning rural location within two miles of the Ceredigion coast with its beaches, and close to the River Teifi with plenty of water-based activities.
All 40 pitches have electricity hook-ups and of these, 25 also have water and drainage and hardstanding. Ten all-weather pitches for tents have been added. The remainder are on level grass. The park has ample room for children to play, an enclosed play area, an indoor games room with TV, and a sauna next to reception. Buzzards, red kites, owls and the occasional eagle can be seen from the park.
There is also a wide variety of small birds. A wide choice of Blue Flag beaches can be found along the coast, there are dolphin trips from New Quay ten miles away and white water rafting on the Teifi at Llandysul. The Teifi is also a well-known canoeing and fishing river.
Modern toilet block with toilets, showers, washbasins in cabins, two full suites in each side and a separate room for families and disabled visitors. Laundry/kitchen with washing machine, tumble dryer, ironing board and iron, fridge/freezer, microwave, kettle and toaster. Enclosed play area. Games room with table football, electronic games, TV and library. Sauna (charged). Dog walking area. WiFi (charged).
LocationTravelling north on the A487 from Cardigan turn right (southeast) at the crossroads in Sarnau village, signed Rhydlewis. Site is on the left after 650 yds. Note: the cross-country approach is not advised. Link to campsite location map on google
