Alan Rogers Review of Broomfield Holiday Park
Broomfield Holiday Park is situated on the seafront at the western end of Ullapool. The park extends to some 12 acres, mostly level, all grass and with many pitches right on the lochside overlooking the Summer Isles, famous for its sunsets. There are 140 pitches, 110 with 16A electricity and 44 in an area reserved for tents. There is a small play area and part of the reception has been made into an information centre. There is no shop on site as Ullapool is just five minutes walk, where there are shops, bars, restaurants, a leisure centre, swimming pool and golf course.
Boat trips are possible from the harbour during the summer to Stornaway, Lewis and the Hebrides and the Sutherland Hills provide for the active visitor.
Facilities at Broomfield Holiday Park
The two toilet blocks offer very good facilities, showers, vanity units and accessible facilities. Both have a dishwashing room. Well-equipped laundry in block near reception.
