Close to the A14 and surrounded by farmland, this small touring site, four miles east of Bury Saint Edmunds, provides a convenient base to explore the nearby town and surrounding villages or as a stopover point. The owners have created 50 spacious pitches within the main touring area, divided into two sections – one of which is reserved for adults only. All pitches have 10A electricity. A separate field with a further ten pitches situated under trees is available for contractors working locally, as well as any visitors who prefer shaded areas. The main touring field has some shade from well maintained hedges and the trees bordering the site.

All pitches have access to the site’s facilities. Food is available from local village pubs within two miles of the park. There is some noise from the nearby A14, especially to the south side of the park, but otherwise the site provides a quiet base for touring units to explore the area.

Excellent and ample toilets and spacious shower facilities (free) are provided within a purpose built sanitary block. Ladies’ toilets include a private bathroom and toilet. Family bathroom with bath, shower and baby changing facilities. Separate accessible toilet/shower. Laundry room. Motorhome services.

From the A14 take exit for Thurston and Beyton, 4 miles east of Bury St Edmunds. Follow signs to Thurston. Park is on the left, shortly after arriving at Thurston and signed from Beyton.
