Alan Rogers Review of Bridport Bingham Grange Caravan and Motorhome Club site

Bridport Bingham Grangeis a scenic, recently redeveloped campsite located near Melplash and the market town of Bridport in Dorset, England. Bridport Bingham Grange Club Campsite reopened on 20 July 2026 with the first 50 pitches open on the upper (eastern) part of the campsite. The entire campsite will be fully open and operational by late August.

There have been various renovations and updates throughout the site, including: A new licensed café with indoor and outdoor seating, new hardstanding pitches - including serviced and premium - as well as electric tent pitches. A new facilities block, replacement service points, a new motor van waste point, electric vehicle charging points and handy dog and bike washes.
The site's new Experience Freedom village features glamping pods, glamping cabins and safari tents. New cottages, including an accessible option, are expected to be open in September and will help to make this the perfect campsite if you want to bring non-touring family and friends along on holiday.

Good dog walks are provided. A limited bus service runs on the main road. The Brit Valley is an unspoilt area of West Dorset with an ancient heritage and coastal West Bay is only a couple of miles. The facilities at this park are good, having been converted from original farm buildings. Originally under private ownership the site was then adults only, since CAMC purchase children are very welcome. Paths have been created through the woods to the river and there is access to public footpaths (Bridport 20 minutes).
