Just north of the historic market town, a drive of half a mile through open fields leads to this purpose-designed park. Neatly laid out in a rural situation, the park is well-lit with a circular tarmac access road beyond a security barrier. The grounds have been levelled and grassed to provide 80 well-spaced pitches, all with 10A electricity connections, of which 50 are ‘super’ hardstanding pitches. Two further areas accommodate 49 caravan holiday homes. On-site, there are two well-stocked coarse fishing pools, an indoor swimming pool and an excellent, fully-licensed à la carte restaurant, ‘The Bothy’, serving local produce. A section of the site is dedicated for adults only.

A large timber building houses reception, a coffee shop and a heated swimming pool. Limousins and pedigree Suffolk sheep graze in neighbouring fields and a ‘park and ride’ scheme operates nearby for those interested in Shrewsbury, one of England’s finest medieval towns. This is a well managed, top class park, maturing by the year. A member of the Best of British group.

Indoor heated swimming pool with daily open sessions (£3 per person, incl. steam room) and for hire privately at other times. Small library. Bicycle hire. Security barrier and CCTV. WiFi part site (free). Only two dogs per unit are accepted. Dog exercise area off site. An adult only park. Luxury lodges and static caravans for hire.

Site is north of Shrewsbury off the A49 Whitchurch road. In the village of Hadnall, turn right opposite the New Inn at camping sign towards Astley and park entrance is 400 yds. on right. Continue down narrow access road with passing places for 800 yds.
