Alan Rogers Review
This good site is owned by the local auto club and managed by enthusiastic volunteers. It surrounds a lake and is near a small river on the southern outskirts of Sobeslav. The 50 touring pitches are marked and there are 48 Europlug electricity connections spread around the lakeside.
The site gets very busy in July and August and it is clearly well used by local tourists. Being close to the busy E55 road, there is inevitably some background traffic noise.
Fishing in the lake is permitted but you will need a licence from reception. The site is next to a river so there may be a small risk of flooding.
Adequate toilet blocks provide toilets, showers (token required) and washbasins. Washing machine. Restaurant and bar with terrace. Internet point in reception (English spoken). Mountain bike and boat hire. Volleyball. Lake for fishing and boating. Small wooden cabins to rent (sleeping 4).
Site is on route 3/E55, just south of Sobeslav.Link to campsite location map on google
