Set between the torrs of Slieve Binnian and the sea, the proprietors of this well-appointed park have reserved 12 pitches near the sea exclusively for touring caravans. The park has grown over several years and has become a pleasant location, primarily for privately owned caravan holiday homes. Like many Irish caravan parks, Annalong has few trees, but with most of these being Cordyline palms, the park has a semi-tropical look.

A low sea wall and a pedestrian footpath beside the shore form the only barrier between the park and the Irish Sea. This path makes a delightful stroll to Annalong’s picturesque old fishing harbour, a historic corn mill and a nearby licensed restaurant. Tourists will enjoy visits to the Silent Valley reservoir and park, Kilkeel’s commercial fishing harbour and the delights of the Mountains of Mourne. Many footpaths lead into the mountains for those keen to explore.

Follow the A2 south from Newcastle to Annalong. The park can be easily seen on the left as the road leaves Annalong.
