The Aberdeenshire local authority owns Aden Country Park, which is open to the public. The caravan and camping site is on one side of the park. Beautifully landscaped and well laid out with trees, bushes and hedges, it is kept very neat and tidy. It provides 23 numbered pitches for touring units, with varying degrees of slope (some level) and all with 16A electrical hook-ups, plus an area for around 20 tents. There are also 16 caravan holiday homes and 12 seasonal pitches. The campsite is also leased by the council to private owners.

The park is in an attractive area, and one could spend plenty of time enjoying all it has to offer. Attractions for visitors include an Agricultural Heritage Centre, Wildlife Centre, Nature Trail and restaurant, and open and woodland areas with a lake for walking and recreation.

The modern toilet block is clean, with good accessible facilities. It can be heated and provides free, preset hot showers, a hairdryer, and a baby bath, but no private cabins. Dishwashing and laundry facilities (metered). Motorhome services. Gas supplies. Small shop in the reception area. Restaurant in the Heritage Centre. Games areas. Play equipment (safety surfaces). Dog exercise area.

Approaching Mintlaw from west on A950 road, park is shortly after sign for Mintlaw station. From east, go to the western outskirts of village and entrance is on left – Aden Country Park and Farm Heritage Centre.
