This small site is unusual because it only accepts clients over 50 years of age. It is a high-quality site with an attractive setting in the Steiermark region, west of Graz. There are 50 large, level pitches (100-130 sq.m)equipped with 6A electricity, water, drainage, and cable TV connections. Most pitches are on hardstanding. Several chalets and holiday apartments are also available to rent. There is a small swimming lake which is surrounded by an attractive garden and sunbathing area. The site’s bar/snack bar is inviting, with a selection of homemade dishes on offer.

Accompanied walks and cycle rides are organised during the high season. Bicycle hire is available here, and there is over 600 km of cycle tracks in the area. Graz is a beautiful city and makes an exciting day trip, within easy access of the site. The old town centre is UNESCO listed and is considered one of the best-preserved in central Europe.

Two excellent modern toilet blocks were very clean, with free controllable showers. Laundry room. Bar, snack bar and shop (all 1/4-30/10). Outdoor swimming pool (1/5-30/9). Swimming lake. Tennis. Bicycle hire. Activity programme. Chalets and apartments to rent. WiFi (charged).

Directions to 50plus Campingpark Fisching

From the north (A9 motorway), head for Graz and join the westbound S36 at Sant Michael in Obersteiermark. Continue on this road as far as Aichdorf and then head south on B78 to Weisskirchen and then follow signs to Fisching, from where site is clearly signed.
