An impressive and well run site beside the beach at Sérignan-Plage. Split into two halves with a small beach running inbetween, Aloha offers a wide range of good quality facilities, all open when the site is open. There are 440 pitches with 207 mobile homes for hire, some in attractive garden settings. The 233 pitches for touring units are of a good size, regularly laid out on level, sandy grass with light shade. Easily accessed from tarmac roads, all have 10A electricity. The swimming pool complex is very impressive and there is an emphasis on activities for children with a popular play area and miniclub.
Camping les Vagues is a member of the Sandaya group and is situated at the popular seaside resort of Valras-Plage, 500 m. from a fine sandy beach. Les Vagues has an excellent (28°C) swimming pool complex extending over 2,000 sq.m, complete with waves and a sandy beach; most impressive. There is also a wide range of amenities, including a buffet-style restaurant (with carvery), a multisports pitch and a minigolf course. Les Vagues is a lively site in peak season with frequent evening entertainment and activities for all ages. Touring caravans and motorhomes are not accepted.
Occupying a grassy, tree-covered area on the banks of the Seine, Camping Sandaya Paris Maisons-Laffitte is a popular and well-maintained site. The reception staff are welcoming, friendly and multilingual. There are around 300 pitches, 113 occupied by mobile homes and tour operators, plus two areas dedicated to tents. Most pitches are separated by hedges, are of a good size with some overlooking the Seine (unfenced access), and all 170 touring pitches have electricity hook-ups (10A). The roads leading to the site are a little narrow, so large vehicles need to take care. There is a frequent train service and occasional noise from aircraft.
Camping Sandaya Rivièra d’Azur is an excellent site near the Côte d’Azur that will take you away from the Mediterranean coast's bustle. Spread out over ten hectares, this is a well-equipped holiday destination with pitches arranged along avenues. The 188 touring pitches average 100 sq.m. in size, and all have electricity connections and, unusually, private sanitary facilities (although washbasins double as dishwashing sinks). There are 340 accommodation units for rent, most of which were installed after ongoing investment by the owners. There is a free shuttle to the beach at Saint Aygulf.
This large and impressive, deluxe site is very efficiently run by the Sandaya Group. The main part of the camping area is pinewood, with over 800 clearly marked pitches, 465 dedicated to touring with electricity, water and drainage, and most with hardstanding. The 267 élite pitches of 120 sq.m. are excellent. Cypsela is a busy, well-administered site, only 2 km. from the sea, which we can thoroughly recommend, especially for families. The site has good quality fixtures and fittings, all kept clean and maintained to a high standard. The site has many striking features, one of which is the sumptuous complex of sports facilities and amenities near the entrance.
Le Plein Air des Chênes is situated just outside the village of Clapiers, about 5 km. from the interesting city of Montpellier, yet merely 20 km. from a choice of Mediterranean beaches. However, the site itself has much to offer, with an amazing pool complex with toboggans, cascades, pools and a wonderful children’s pool area, not to mention an Auberge (open all year). In the main season, there is plenty of entertainment, but it is also a good base from which to explore the countryside. There are 40 touring pitches, most with 10A electricity (some large with individual toilet cabin), all in a shaded, terraced setting. There are over 200 mobile homes for rent on the site too.
Camping Sandaya Les Tamaris is a super site that is unusually situated on a strip of land that separates the sea from the étang, or inland lake and therefore Frontignan-Ville from Frontignan-Plage. We were lucky enough to see flamingos when we visited.
Camping Soulac Plage is a member of the established Sandaya group and can be found at the northern end of the Médoc. The large site is close to the attractive seaside town of Soulac-sur-Mer and with access to a broad sandy beach. Trees have been carefully planted creating one area with silver birch, one with apple trees and another with palms and tropical plants. The pool complex is an excellent feature, complete with chutes, flumes and waterfalls and a covered pool with an adjacent gym and massage room. There are numerous daytime activities for all the family to enjoy and a variety of entertainment in the evening.
The comfortable 5-star campsite Blue Bayou is situated at the far end of Vendres-Plage near Le Grau Vendres (the port of Vendres). It is therefore in a much quieter location than many other sites, away from the more hectic, built-up areas of Vendres and Valras-Plage. The beach is 300 m. away across sand dunes and there are open views from the site creating a feeling of spaciousness. There are 144 touring pitches, all with 10A electricity, with about 400 accommodation units to let, including some chalets. The level grass touring pitches are of a good size, arranged in avenues with shade from tall trees, some with their own sanitary arrangements.

There are around 440 pitches, 90 for touring units and 260 for fully equipped mobile homes for rent, some with air-conditioning, dishwasher and jacuzzi.
Approached by a road alongside the lake, this Sandaya group site is surrounded by tall trees. Of around 350 pitches, the 69 sand/gravel pitches are of average size, mostly level with varying degrees of shade. Most have 6A electricity connections. Low hedges and young trees divide those available for tourers and most are set away from the mobile homes and chalets. There are plenty of walks, cycle rides and the lake to enjoy.

The pitches range from simple ones to those with water and a drain, and there are eight with private, well-designed, modern sanitary facilities.
The Château des Marais campsite is a good base for visiting the château at Chambord and the other châteaux in the Vallée des Rois. The site, providing 115 large touring pitches in avenues, all with electricity (10A), access to water and drainage and ample shade, is situated in the oak and hornbeam woods of its own attractive, small château. Twenty-five designated motorhome pitches are on hardstanding and grass. An excellent swimming complex offers pools with two slides, two flumes and a lazy river.
