Occupying a grassy, tree-covered area on the banks of the Seine, Camping Sandaya Paris Maisons-Laffitte is a popular and well-maintained site. The reception staff are welcoming, friendly and multilingual. There are around 300 pitches, 113 occupied by mobile homes and tour operators, plus two areas dedicated to tents. Most pitches are separated by hedges, are of a good size with some overlooking the Seine (unfenced access), and all 170 touring pitches have electricity hook-ups (10A). The roads leading to the site are a little narrow, so large vehicles need to take care. There is a frequent train service and occasional noise from aircraft.

The site is convenient for Paris – you can walk to the RER station and be in the centre in 20 minutes; the same line goes on through to Disneyland (55 minutes). Versailles is a short drive away. Maisons-Laffitte is a pleasant suburb with a château, a racecourse and some large training stables.

Three sanitary blocks, two insulated for winter use and one more open (only used in July/Aug). Facilities are clean with constant supervision necessary due to volume of visitors. Accessible facilities. Motorhome services. Self-service shop. Restaurant/bar. Takeaway food and pizzeria (all open all season). TV in restaurant. Football area. Fishing possible with licence. Internet point and WiFi throughout (charged).

Directions to Camping Sandaya Paris Maisons-Laffitte

From A13 take exit 7 (Poissy) and follow D153 (Poissy), D308 (Maisons-Laffitte), then site signs on right before town centre. From A15 exit 7 take D184 towards St Germain, after 11 km. turn left on D308 (Maisons-Laffitte). Follow site signs.
