This large and impressive, deluxe site is very efficiently run by the Sandaya Group. The main part of the camping area is pinewood, with over 800 clearly marked pitches, 465 dedicated to touring with electricity, water and drainage, and most with hardstanding. The 267 élite pitches of 120 sq.m. are excellent. Cypsela is a busy, well-administered site, only 2 km. from the sea, which we can thoroughly recommend, especially for families. The site has good quality fixtures and fittings, all kept clean and maintained to a high standard. The site has many striking features, one of which is the sumptuous complex of sports facilities and amenities near the entrance.

The complex provides a fine, large swimming pool with diving boards, playgrounds for children, two excellent squash courts, a tennis court, fitness room, sports areas and other entertainment rooms. These include a children’s playroom with a mini club and organised entertainment (including video screen), an amusements room and a luxurious, air-conditioned lounge. There is a pleasant, alfresco restaurant offering a varied menu plus good wines (it can become very busy). If you wish to travel to the beach there is a regular free bus service from the site. The gates are closed at night. Several tour operators use the site (200+ pitches), and there are also a large number of mobile homes and cottages for rent.

Four sanitary blocks are of excellent quality with comprehensive cleaning schedules and solar heating. Three have washbasins in cabins and three have amazing rooms for children. Directions to Camping Sandaya Cypsela Resort

From AP7/E15 at Girona take exit 6 towards Palamós on the C66. Road changes number to the C31 near La Bisbal. 7.5 km. past La Bisbal, exit to Pals on the GI652. Follow signs for Platja de Pals. At El Masos take 6502 for 1 km. Main entrance is on the left.
