On the outskirts of Saint Malo, this neat, family oriented site, which is ideal for both younger and older children, is very popular with visitors of all nationalities. Le P’tit Bois provides 250 level pitches with 69 for touring units, which are divided into groups by mature hedges and trees, separated by shrubs and flowers and access from tarmac roads. Half of them have electrical hook-ups and over half have water taps. There are site-owned mobile homes and chalets so facilities are open throughout the season.
Behind reception, an attractive, sheltered terraced area around the complex of heated indoor and outdoor pools provides a focus during the day, along with a bar and snack bar. The site describes itself as a holiday camp, and indeed all ages are well provided for. There is a lively programme of children’s and adults’ activities and, with a restaurant, bar and well stocked shop, there is little need to go off site. However, for those wishing to do so, the beaches are nearby as are the busy towns along this part of the coast.

One fully equipped heated toilet block includes washbasins in cabins, baby baths and sanitary facilities specially for children. Laundry facilities. Simple accessible sanitary facilities. Motorhome services. Shop. Bar (with entertainment in July/Aug.), snack bar with takeaway (all open all season). TV room. Games rooms. Heated swimming pool, paddling pool and two water slides (from 15/5). Heated indoor pool with Turkish baths and jacuzzi (all season). Playground. Multisports court. Tennis. Minigolf. Charcoal barbecues are not permitted. WiFi (free).

St Jouan is west off the St Malo-Rennes road (N137) just outside St Malo. Site is signed from the N137 (take second exit for St Jouan on the D4).
