Camping Navarre is a small municipal site of 66 pitches located in a unique position within the walls of the historic town of Langres. The pitches are grassy, well shaded and of a good size, 48 with electrical connections (10A). Although there are few amenities on site, the town centre is just a short walk away with a wide selection of shops, cafés and restaurants. Langres, with its 3.5 km. of ancient ramparts and imposing towers - including two within the grounds of the campsite - is classified as one of the 50 most beautiful towns in France.

This site is ideal for a short stay, especially for those who like to be able to leave their vehicle behind and walk. For those choosing to spend longer in the Haute-Marne, the surrounding countryside is well worth exploring, The Lac de la Liez (created in the 1880s to feed the Marne - Saône canal) has opportunities for water-based activities including windsurfing, sailing, and canoe and pedalo hire, and there is an 18 km. track around the lake for walking or cycling. For the less energetic, a drive along the Marne valley could be an attractive option.

Directions to Camping Navarre

Langres is close to the intersection of the A5 and A31 motorways. Leave either motorway and head for the town centre. Site is just inside the southern gate to the city and well signed.
