Set within the Snowdonia National Park, this excellent site was totally rebuilt for the 2009 season to a standard that others will strive to achieve. It is a level site with first-class facilities and has 100 well drained touring pitches (some seasonal), all on hardstanding and fully serviced. Tents are not accepted. In a separate area there are 112 caravan holiday homes. The site has three miles of golden sand beaches nearby and the Snowdon mountain range as a backdrop. It overlooks the famous Royal St David’s Golf Course, and Harlech town, dominated by its 13th-century castle, is within walking distance. A great deal of thought has made this site ideal for disabled visitors, with each pitch fronting onto smooth, level, tarmac roads which continue to the toilet and shower facilities where there are wide reserved parking bays. Key cards are required for all the facilities. Children will enjoy a secure play area, a bike track and a games field on site.

The site is a member of the Caravan and Motorhome Club Affiliated Site Scheme but visitors who are not members of the club are also very welcome.

Min-Y-Don site is ideally situated on stunning landscaped land between the coast road and the beach, set against a backdrop formed by Snowdon and the intimidating mountain range. The views of the mountainous terrain, sand dunes and floodlit 13th century World Heritage Castle are breathtaking. A short walk from the site will take you into Harlech past the railway station, where you can enjoy quaint pubs, tasty restaurants and shops set within this historic town. You will also find a heated indoor swimming pool, gymnasium, sauna, tennis court and theatre. If you want to venture further, the site is conveniently located to the main train line to Pwllheli, Criccieth, Barmouth and Aberdovey.

From North: turn right off the A496 (Portmadoc - Harlech) below Harlech opposite the Queens Hotel into Beach Road. The site entrance is on the right in 400 yards (2nd caravan park). From South: turn left off the A496 (Barmouth - Harlech) below Harlech past the Toyota Garage and level crossing into Beach Road. The site entrance is on the right in 400 yards (2nd caravan park). Please note: avoid B4573 uphill into Harlech, stay on A496 signposted towards the railway.
