This urban site is situated on the banks of the Ardèche river, on the outskirts of the ancient town of Vallon. For those wishing to explore the country along this famous river, the site offers 130 smallish (80 sq.m) grass, hedge lined and shaded pitches, all with electricity (6A). There is an access gate (locked at night) to a small beach at the river’s edge. Although the town’s facilities are close to hand, a small restaurant with takeaway is available during the season, together with a mini-market. There may be some road noise, but the site is well placed for the explorer!

Fishing is possible at the site (permit required) and a small, but well appointed swimming pool, together with a children’s pool, is open and heated in season. Adjacent to the site is a very large sports field, available to visitors.
