In southeast France, in the Écrins massif, lies the family camping site of Camping Au Valbonheur. You camp here in a very natural environment, so it almost feels like you are camping in the wild. With a swimming lake and a private beach with sun loungers, plenty of outdoor activities are to be had. This lake is suitable for swimming, kayaking and canoeing, and enjoying a game of volleyball on the beach. For the younger children, there is a multi-sports field, bouncy castles as well as entertainment in the high season.
You will find 123 spacious touring pitches for your caravan, camper or tent amidst trees, brooks and greenery. The generous pitches ensure a peaceful holiday. Families mainly frequent this camping site with young children.

The Valbonheur campsite is located in the heart of an area surrounded by mountains and lakes. The Ecrins National Park is home to many protected species. It is full of hiking trails, including the GR 50, which stops at the sanctuary of La Salette.

Fifteen minutes by car await you on one side the plateau of Matheysine and its large mountain lakes, La Mure and its market as well as the Pierre Percée, one of the seven wonders of the Dauphiné... on the other, the Col d' Ornon, gateway to Oisans and Alpe d'Huez.
