Camping Sandaya Lac de Sanguinet is just 100 m. from the large lake of the same name. There are 317 pitches here, of which 144 are for touring. One hundred twenty have electrical connections (10/16A). Around 173 pitches are occupied by mobile homes, chalets and fully equipped bungalow tents, all available to rent, including some models specially adapted with accessible facilities.
Amenities include an attractive swimming pool, a volleyball court, and two playgrounds. A marquee is used for activities and entertainment during the peak season. The Lac de Sanguinet is one of Europe’s largest lakes (6,800 hectares!) and is renowned for the clarity of its waters.
It’s understandably popular for fishing but also for water sports. A sailing and windsurfing centre is adjacent to the site. This is a region for superlatives – Europe’s highest sand dune, the Dune de Pyla, is close, and from the top, there are wonderful views of the Arcachon basin and surrounding forest.

Approaching from Bordeaux, head south on A63 and then join the A660 towards Arcachon. Leave this motorway at the first exit and follow signs to Sanguinet (D216). Upon arrival in Sanguinet follow signs to Le Lac and from here the site is well signed.
