Alan Rogers Review of Camping le Vieux Moulin
Located in one of the most beautiful valleys in the heart of the Ardennes, le Vieux Moulin has 183 pitches and, although there are 127 long stay units at the far end of the site, the 60 touring pitches do have their own space. Some are separated by hedges, others for tents and smaller units are more open, all are on grass, and there are 50 electricity hook-ups (6A). The 19th-century watermill has been owned and operated by the owner’s family for many years, but has now been converted into a small hotel and a fascinating mill museum.
Visits are possible with an audio guide in English. La Roche is a pretty little town in an unspoiled area, a very scenic region of rolling tree-clad hills and small deep valleys, with rocks for climbing, castles to explore and rivers to fish.
Facilities at Camping le Vieux Moulin
A newly constructed, centrally located toilet block is between the touring and long stay areas. It can be heated in cool weather and provides washbasins in cubicles and controllable hot showers on payment. Washing machine. A further older unit is at the end of the mill building. Restaurant and bar with hotel (8 rooms). Mill museum.

From town centre take N89 south towards St Hubert, turning right towards Hives where site is signed. Site is 800 m. from the town centre.
