Camping Fontanelle, a member of the HG Hotels group, is situated near the historic village of Moniga and enjoys excellent views across the lake. The site sits on the southwest slopes of Lake Garda and has 166 touring pitches on slightly sloping and terraced ground. Tour operators use a further 50 pitches, but there is minor impingement. All are marked and have 6A electricity connections (36 are fully serviced) and some enjoyable lakeside pitches (at extra cost).

Some tent and touring pitches are very secluded, distant from the campsite facilities, although small blocks with toilets are nearby. The campsite boasts a range of amenities and facilities to enhance your stay. There are two swimming pools for the adults with water slides and a paddling pool alongside (closed from 13.00-15.00).

The campsite offers a program of activities and entertainment in high season for all ages with many activities on offer, such as live music and sports tournaments. After a day of activities, enjoy local cuisine at the campsite's restaurant. The menu features a variety of pizzas, pasta dishes, and other Italian specialities; enjoy your meal on the spacious terrace while taking in the views of Lake Garda.

The lakeside pitches have access to the beach through gates in the safety fence. The lake is a public area and there is no lifeguard, although the local equivalent to the RNLI is active on the lake. The public can gain access to the beach along fenced paths through the site. Good English is spoken.

The site has two large toilet blocks, which are modern and clean, with hot water throughout, though both may become busy during the high season. Accessible Facilities. Washing machines and dryers. Directions to Camping Fontanelle

Moniga is on western shore of Lake Garda at the southern end. From A4 Milan-Venice autostrada take Desenzano exit and head north on SS572 towards Salò for 10 km. and watch for campsite signs, turning right then right again in 3 km. Access is steep and narrow in places and may be difficult for larger units.
