The long, golden sandy beach adjacent to this site is a good feature, being ideal for windsurfing and also clean and safe for swimming. The site has a pleasant, open feel and is reasonably sheltered from road noise. It has been thoughtfully landscaped and planted with an amazing variety of shrubs and flowers and is clean. There is a smart, modern reception area with an attractive water feature close by. Please note that there are no touring pitches.
A pleasant restaurant/bar area provides fast food and drinks. The pool is rather small and crowded in summer but has pleasant views of the distant mountain range. Tarifa is a little over 5 km. and is well worth a visit, also a drive inland to the traditional Pueblo Blancos (white villages) is rewarding.
Facilities at Taiga Tarifa Punta Paloma
Two modern, fully equipped sanitary blocks include accessible facilities and baby room. All spotless when seen. Motorhome services. Gas supplies. Supermarket and excellent bar/restaurant with patio (fast food only, all open as site). Swimming pool complex with bar. Large play area. Dogs are not accepted. No charcoal barbecues.
Directions to Taiga Tarifa Punta Paloma
Site is on main N340 Cádiz road at 78.87 km. marker, 7.5 km. northwest of Tarifa. Large modern signs well ahead of the site with a deceleration lane if approaching from the Tarifa direction.
