Sites et Paysages le Fief Melin at Château d'Oléron is in a natural and wooded setting, just 1.8 km from the beaches of the Atlantic Ocean. Come and discover the charm of the island of Oléron which is nicknamed 'La Lumineuse', the sunny island of Charente-Maritime, where cycling will be your ideal means of travel thanks to the many bike paths accessible just 400 m from the site. You will be able to reach the various tourist and leisure places. The site has an aquatic area, composed of an indoor and heated swimming pool. Here you can stop with your tent, caravan or motorhome for one night or more. All this is near the most beautiful villages of the archipelago such as Le Grand Village Plage, La Brée-les-Bains, Saint-Pierre-d'Oléron, Saint-Georges-d'Oléron, Dolus-d'Oléron, Saint-Denis-d'Oléron and Saint-Trojan-les-Bains, but also salt marshes, beautiful sandy beaches ideal for surfing, oyster huts in the Marennes-Oléron basin and the famous Fort Boyard, a true jewel of Poitou-Charentes. The site has 82 grass/hardstanding touring pitches with electric hook-up point 10amp. There are also a number of mobile homes etc. available to hire.

From July to August the site offers daily entertainment from Monday to Friday, varied for young and old, boules, sports tournaments, children's club etc. On the multisport field you can also play badminton, beach volleyball, football and use the health trail.

Directions to Sites et Paysages le Fief Melin

From the bridge continue on the dual carriageway D26. Partway along the dual carriageway turn right on D734 towards Château-d’Oleron. In the town continue on D734 in the direction of Dolus-d’Oleron to La Gaconnière. Now turn right onto Rue des Alizés and the site is 400 metres on the right.
