There are 206 pitches here, of which 98 are for tourers. These are of a good size, grassy and with reasonable shade. Most have electrical connections and some have pleasant river views. Three fully-equipped chalets are available to rent. Some children’s activities are organised in peak season. Les Cascades is an attractive aqua park, adjacent to the site, and boasts a number of water features. A towpath leads along the river bank and provides easy access to the pretty town centre.
Fishing is possible in the Saône (permit required). Further afield, Lyon is within easy reach and richly merits a visit. Often considered the best city for French gastronomy, the old town is full of bustling bistros and friendly cafés. There is much to see in the city, and it has UNESCO World Heritage ranking. The 13th century cathedral of Saint Jean is of particular note.

Trévoux is 30 km. north of Lyon. Approaching from the north, leave A6 motorway at the Anse exit and head south on D51 as far as Grand Veissieux. Here, bear north on D87 to Trévoux and follow signs to the site.
