Parsons Green Holiday Park is in the Galtee Vee Valley in south Tipperary. This small, family-run park commands panoramic views toward the Vee Gap and Knockmealdown Mountains. The campsite is open style, surrounded by low ranch fencing offering 34 pitches with hardstanding for caravans and motorhomes and ten on grass, all with 6A electrical connections, plus 20 pitches for tents.
There is a range of things to do on-site, including indoor and outdoor playgrounds, Pony rides, an animal farm with rare breed animals and birds, crazy golf, an extensive farm museum, boating on the small lake and trout fishing on the river, which runs alongside the site. Bring a picnic or enjoy a snack from the coffee shop. Parsons Green offers the ideal venue for the entire family. There is something enjoyable and interesting around every corner.
If not sitting back enjoying the scenic surroundings or participating in the many activities, there is much to see and do in this area, including visits to the Rock of Cashel, Lismore Castle or Mount Melleray Abbey. Parsons Green is an ideal central location for walking enthusiasts. There are three major mountain ranges surrounding it, including the Galty Mountains, The Knockmealdown Mountains and The Comeraghs. These offer walks to suit all ages and abilities. Mitchelstown Cave is on the main cork to Dublin road in Co.Tipperary. Just 7 min from Parsons Green. Entering the cave takes you into a world of breathtaking natural formations.
