Just outside Fort William, in a most attractive and quiet situation with views of Ben Nevis, this spacious park is used by those on active pursuits as well as sightseeing tourists. It comprises eight quite large fields, divided between caravans, motorhomes and tents. The 174 large touring pitches, many with hardstanding (steel pegs required,) are marked with wooden fence dividers, all with 16A electricity and 80 also have water and drainage. The park becomes full in the peak months, but there are vacancies each day. If the reception is closed (after hours), you can site yourself.

There are regular security patrols at night in busy periods. The park’s own modern restaurant and bar with good value bar meals is a short stroll from the park, open to all. A well managed park with bustling, but pleasing ambiance, watched over by Ben Nevis. Around 1,000 acres of the Glen Nevis estate are open to campers to see the wildlife and explore this lovely area.

Four modern toilet blocks with showers (extra showers in two blocks) and accessible sanitary units. An excellent block in Nevis Park (one of the eight camping fields) has some washbasins in cubicles, showers, a second large laundry room and dishwashing sinks. Motorhome service point, Campers kitchen, Family Room. Motorhome services. Shop (March- November). Barbecue area, Takeaway available (opening times at reception)  Play area on bark (Was being refurbished when we visited). Free WIFI over site . Bar/ Restaurant which allows dogs in bar area, Fishing. Pets allowed. Electric bicycle hire. Gas Sales. No security barrier. 10 Camping Pods. TV signal good. Information at Reception. Bus stop at the entrance. Twin axel caravans accepted. Dog exercise area.

Directions to Glen Nevis Caravan & Camping Park

From south on A82. In Fort William, at the 3rd island take 2nd exit and follow caravan signs. The site is on the right after passing the Visitor Centre.
