Alan Rogers Review of Flower Camping les Vertes Feuilles
Situated on the Picardy coast, four kilometres from the beach, this three-hectare site provides 60 touring pitches out of a total of 150, all with electricity hook-ups (6/10A). The remainder contain a mix of mobile homes and semi-residential caravans. The site roads are slightly narrow, but one or two larger units can be accommodated with care. Some of the very reasonably sized pitches are a little uneven with patchy grass. This whole area is bustling in high season with many campsites and holiday villages but this makes for a wonderful French-style seaside holiday. Some entertainment is provided on the site in high season.
Les Vertes Feuilles possibly provides a base more suitable for couples to explore the area as there are limited facilities for children here, apart from the heated, covered pool and two small play areas. The site provides direct access to many kilometres of cycle tracks and quiet country lanes. Bicycles can be hired at the site. It is possible to cycle or walk the whole coast of the Baie de Somme. Other excursions include the nearby Aquaclub, the Abbey and Gardens of Valloires and the bird reserve of Le Marquenterre.

One large toilet block, dated but clean, has unisex showers, washbasins in cubicles and three family rooms. Ramped accessible sanitary facilities. Small shop, brasserie and snack bar (all season). Bread delivery. Covered heated swimming pool (all season). Play area and indoor games room. Bicycle hire. WiFi over site (charged).
Directions to Flower Camping les Vertes Feuilles
From A16 exit 24 (Rue), take D32 around Rue, when road becomes D940 for a while, then continues again as D32 towards Fort-Mahon-Plage. After left turn for Quend-Plage, site on left.
