Le Domaine du Haut des Bluches is attractively located in the rolling hills of the Vosges and is close to the ski resorts of Gérardmer and La Bresse. The site is open most of the year with skiing possible in winter and it is a good base for nature lovers in summer. There are 128 slightly uneven and sloping grass/gravel pitches informally laid out in groups on terraces. These include about 100 for touring units, all with electricity (4/8/13A, Europlug), long leads and rock pegs advised. Across the road there are special areas of hardstanding for motorhomes, including some electricity hook-ups, all at a special rate. Although there is little organised on the site, La Bresse (4 km) has a wide range of activities on offer. Some road noise should be expected.

The swimming pool in La Bresse is free in high season for campers under 12 years old. For those seeking a little more excitement, there is a 1,300-metre long zipwire nearby, which passes overhead close to the site entrance.

Directions to Domaine du Haut des Bluches

La Bresse is 25 km. south of Gérardmer on the D486. At the eastern end of the town turn south on Route des Planches. Site is signed, entrance in 350 m.
